Our mission To educate the public about the humane care and treatment of all creatures, great and small;
To provide shelter to lost and homeless animals;
To advocate animal welfare, environmental consciousness and sustenance in order to further the bond between people, animals and our earth.
Our organization The Humane Society of Dominica is a non-profit organization founded and incorporated in Dominica in 2000 and has been active since 2001.
Our Board of Directors currently reunites three dedicated volunteers: Daniel Langlois (Director) - Founder, Ex-Centris, Montreal, Canada Dominique Marchand (Founder, Executive Director) - The Humane Society of Dominica, New York, USA Sidonie Vandamme (Director) - Owner, Cocorico, Roseau, Dominica
Our staff We currently employ one full-time and one part-time Humane Values Educators.
